Best Way to fit a bath
People doing DIY fit their baths in many different ways but the correct way to fit a bath is as follows. Firstly, the taps should be fitted onto the bath so that they can be tightened, as once the bath has been fitted it can sometimes be difficult to get the taps in the right position.
Once this is done the bath should be put in position and leveled out, ensuring that the bath is absolutely flat. The next step is to tile down to the rim of the bath. If this is done the other way around, ie tiled first and then put the bath into place then you will create space at the side of the bath for the water to run down. If it is done the right way then the water will just run back into the bath when running off the bathroom tiles and not leak.
